Learn how to make authentic soft pretzels from the Swabia region of Germany where Eric traveled! We will show you how mix the dough, form pretzels with a proper belly and arms, slash and bake.
How it works
Workshops are limited to 10 participants and the cost is $85 per participant, and there is plenty of time for discussion, asking questions, and getting to know enthusiastic bakers from around Bloomington!
This class begins at home, as we walk you through preparing dough the night before via a Zoom connection, then we meet at the Bakery to shape the pretzels and bake them in our brick oven! We will make dough on Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. and then come to the bakery Sunday morning at 11 am to finish the process. We will wrap up around 1 pm.
