In this workshop, we will focus on German-style pretzels and pretzel rolls.
German-style pretzels are dipped in a diluted lye solution prior to baking. We will discuss the chemistry and taste the results.
The participants will make a pizza lunch in the brick oven while the dough is rising.
Each participant will go home with a dozen pretzels and pretzel rolls.
This workshop is usually offered on a Sunday and runs from 10 am to 3 pm.
